About Alicia

Wassup! My name’s Alicia, and I’m a therapist-in-training working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I’m a Black, fat, neurodivergent woman from the Bronx, and the identities I carry really shape how I see mental health, relationships, and the systems we’re all navigating. My own journey has taught me how important it is to feel seen, heard, and supported, especially in spaces where folks like me are often overlooked. That’s a big part of what drives my commitment to show up with empathy, cultural humility, and care rooted in healing.

Because of what I’ve lived through, I know how hard it can be to find spaces that feel safe and affirming. That’s why I’m committed to creating a space where you can fully and unapologetically be your most authentic self, knowing that you’ll be met with compassion, acceptance, and safety.

I enjoy working with LGBTQ+ folks, BIPOC, neurodivergent people, people in non-traditional relationships and other marginalized communities. My approach is mostly person-centered and CBT-informed, rooted in active listening and the belief that you already have everything you need inside you to heal. My goal is to honor your truth and co-create a space where you feel empowered to explore, reclaim, and rewrite your story as I walk alongside you every step of the way.

If this vibes with you and you want someone to walk with you on this journey, hit me up! I’m looking forward to meeting you!
